A Glance at OSV Museum

The Church Museum

The ceremonies of our church have changed as much as the appearance of our building. A visit to the church museum will make that apparent. The Old St. Vincent Church Museum is located to the right just beyond the entrance foyer of the church in an area that used to house a confessional in years past.

It's official!

The "Blessed" John Henry Cardinal Newman was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI at Cofton Park, Birmingham on 19 September 2010

This puts Newman one step away from sainthood!

This is immensely important for anyone who is concerned about the state of the culture and the Catholic Church in America. Cardinal Newman would be the perfect saint for our time.

Tour OSV Today!



The church is generally open for tours during the summer months on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (1 – 4 P.M.). Tours may also be arranged by calling the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Cape Girardeau @ (573)335-1631. Old St. Vincent Church is one of the many historic sites offered to visitors of Cape Girardeau.
