Bereavement Dinners

Bereavement dinners are provided when a member of our congregation passes into eternal life. Members of the bereavement committee arrange for and order the food necessary as well as help with the preparation and serving of the meal.

Guided Tours

Old St. Vincent Church, its current structure built in 1853, is constructed in a cruciform plan similar to the great cathedrals of Europe. It is of English Gothic Revival style and said to be one of six churches of this style within the United States.

Members Night Out

We are currently in the process of organizing "Members' Night Out", a time for both members and non-members of the Old St. Vincent Church Faith Community to have an occasion to socialize.  We are planning a number of activities that may include "A Night at the Movies", "An Evening of Playing Cards & Games", and "Lunch or Dinner  With Friends".  These activities may take place once a month, bi-weekly, or quarterly, and may be in place by early fall of 2010.  .

 

Telephone Committee

The Telephone Committee is a part of the Publicity Sub-Committee headed by council members Kavid Kieffer & Chuck Ross under the Long-Range Planning & Membership Committee.  Its purpose is communication with the O.S.V. members in time of need as well as keeping the Church's telephone audix message current.
